Overview
This doc outlines how to use the Slack connector to send messages to your workspace's members.
Setup
Create connector
From the settings panel or from the node catalog, search for the Slack integration and navigate to the 'create connector' view.
Configure the connector
Click on the authenticate button and log in with your credentials.
Actions
Write - Send a message via Slack
Follow these steps to set up and use the Write action inside your desired Slack channel:

Add Cargo to your Slack channel
- Navigate to your Slack channel's "Integrations" tab
- Click "Add apps" to open the app directory
- Search for "Cargo" and click "Add" to install it to your channel
- Once added, you'll see Cargo listed in your channel's integrations
- Navigate to your Slack channel's "Integrations" tab

Configure the Write action
- Select your message recipient from the dropdown menu
- For channel messages, choose the channel you added Cargo to
- Compose your message using the expression input field

Test the connection
- Send a test message to verify the integration is working
- If the message fails, verify that Cargo has been properly added to the target channel
