Overview

This doc outlines how to use the Amplitude data loader to import data from your Amplitude account into Cargo.

Setup

Create the connector
From the settings panel or from the node catalog, search for the Amplitude integration and navigate to the 'create connector' view.

Retrieve your Amplitude API key

  • Navigate to your Amplitude dashboard, and under the settings, find the organization settings
  • Navigate to the projects section, on the general tab unveil the API key and secret key section.

Setup step 1

  • Copy your API key and secret key and paste them into the dedicated fields in Cargo.

Create data loader

  • From the data module on the left panel, add a model using + next to the Amplitude connector to begin configuring a data model using an Amplitude object.

  • Load Amplitude data into Cargo by selecting the object type (e.g., campaign, unsubscribe, lead, activity).
