Set up filters based on the 'activity' attributes of a record
In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of setting up filters based on the activity attributes of a record to filter records entering into your workflow.
Pre-requisites
Before you begin
Ensure you have a data model connected to a workflow.
Step 1
Choose filter type
Click the filter options and select Activities
display the available activity attributes.
For this example, we will filter records based on the workflow entered
activity attribute. The resulting segment will include only records that
have entered the workflow in question.
You can filter records based on:
- Workflow entered
- Workflow node executed
- Workflow left
- Segment entered
- Segment left
Step 2
Configure the filter
While configuring the filter, you can set some filters to narrow down the activity attributes of the records.
- Frequency: Specifies how many times the event (e.g., entering a workflow) has occurred. For example, filter records that have entered the workflow at least 3 times.
- Period: Allows you to set a time frame for the event. The period consists of a value and a unit of time (e.g. days). For instance, filter records that have entered the workflow within the last 7 days.
- Workflow: Specifies which workflow the filter should concern. For example, filter records that have entered the workflow.
